Alzheimer's & Dementia Care

We are trained in understanding best practices for both short-term and long-term memory loss.

We have experience caring for adults with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.

Building rapport

To establish a sense of safety and comfort for the patient, we take time to build a relationship with the patient, focusing on trust, empathy, and communication.

Safety and supervision

To help with fall prevention, identify potential hazards, and provide supervision to reduce the risk of wandering, our caregivers monitor the patient’s activities and ensure that the environment is safe

Personal care

Caregivers assist with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. They are trained to help patients who may be resistant or agitated during these tasks.

Cognitive stimulation

Caregivers engage patients in cognitive activities that promote mental stimulation, such as puzzles, games, and music

Emotional support

We provide emotional support to patients and their families, offering a listening ear and helping to manage feelings of frustration and anxiety.
